We leave the Can Guetes car park in Ripoll, the starting point of the Iron and Coal Route. This is a short and difficult route.
Following the signs we will cross the town of Ripoll. We will continue towards the Pont de Calatrava along the promenade parallel to the river Ter. We will pass by the urbanization of Castelladrall and we will connect with the path of Agafallops that connects with the cycle lane of the Solana parallel to the C-17 until arriving at the junction with the C-26. We will go up a paved track until we find the break that will take us to the Remedy Church, where the Remedy gathering is held in October. The descent runs along a forest track to the Barrio Ciutat Jardí de Ripoll, where we cross the road and cross Ripoll and return to Can Guetes, at the starting point of the route.
It is highly recommended to stop in the town of Ripoll, the birthplace of Catalonia, and visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoll, the Scriptorium, the Farga Palau, the Ethnographic Museum of Ripoll in an incomparable setting flanked by the rivers Ter and Freser.
