Sant Martí de Surroca – Route 3
We will leave the reception point along the Iron and Coal Route, following the same route as route 9 to the old mining town of Ogassa. From here we will continue along a paved track with a steep slope, towards Sant Martí de Surroca, a Romanesque hermitage from the 16th century. XII of which we recommend the visit. We will continue the route along the same track to Fogonella, an old rural village already mentioned in a document from the s. XV. From this point we can enjoy magnificent views of the valley of Sant Joan de les Abadesses and the surrounding mountains. We will start the descent with a steep slope from Fogonella to Reixach along a forest track until we find the final section that coincides with the GR-1 to La Batllia. We will return to the starting point of the route, to the reception point
