Parish Church of Sant Cristòfol

“Gothic in style, the old 18th century parish church, along with a country estate and the cemetery, forms part of a complex that is formal and expressive due to its location, is visible from the Freser and Merdàs Valleys, and characterises the image of Campdevànol. The building consists of a nave, side chapels and a bell-tower. The unity of the complex and the connection between both constructions, where the bell-tower is located, stand out. The south-facing building is perforated by an arcade that opens out to the front part to the old way, while the back part leads to an annex where the little used house well is located.

Gothic in style with a 46-metre bell-tower, it is one of the icons of the municipality of Campdevànol. It was rebuilt in 1945 due to the aftermath of the civil war and the 1944 earthquake.”
