From Queralbs to Fontalba route
The way to walk up to Fontalba from the village of Queralbs, has been recovered thanks to the knowledge of some farmers and other residents of the village.
The route starts at Plaça del Raig de Queralbs, where you will find the R114 Itinerànnia junction, and you must follow the route directions. You will be able to follow the yellow markings all the way.
We go to the church of Sant Jaume where we find the junction R115, we will continue in the direction of Fontalba, the first section coincides with the GR11, until we find a new junction R221 Sota la Cabanya del Pintor, we will leave this path and go to the right .
After a few meters we find a new junction R222 El Puig, we go to the left we will follow the yellow marks for almost three kilometers until we find a new junction, R223 Font dels Pastors, if we want to cool off we can leave the route and go to the source and go back the same way.
We will continue for another three kilometers until we find the R224 Les Brosses junction that coincides with the Itinerànnia path that comes from Planoles and the GR11.8. We will go to the right and we will continue until Fontalba, we have about 15 minutes left.
From Fontalba crossroads R225 you can continue following the network of Itinerànnia paths towards Núria, you can also go to the Puigmal, although this route is not signposted.
