Sant Sadurní de Fustanyà

The sparsely populated town of Fustanyà, surely the oldest town in the Ribes Valley, where we find the Romanesque Church of Sant Sadurní de Fustanyà.

On the migjorn facade is the entrance which stands out for the decoration and layout of its ironwork, often seen in the 11th and 12th centuries. On the church’s south facade, part of a Medieval cemetery was found, as well as pottery fragments like the small black clay pot with a spout next to a tomb and most certainty related to said tomb. Its characteristics mean that it can be dated to the late 11th or early 12th century.
