The Museum of Count Arnau is located in the house of culture of the town of Gombrèn, allows you to get an idea of this character and contemplate different archaeological, literary, mythological and historical aspects of the castle and the Mataplana lineage. This museum exhibits pieces found in the excavations that have been carried out in the castle. Through models and drawings it is possible to observe the constructive evolution of the castle and its surroundings. Some of the most prominent pieces are the pewter diptych, a piece of an ivory chess set, and a seal of the pontifical bull. They are all pieces from the 12th and 13th centuries.
