Mining Museum and the coal mines of Ogassa

“The coal mines of Ogassa were exploited between the late 18th century and 1967. Their existence was behind the town’s progress and was a key element because the railway came to Ripollès to quickly transfer the material to Barcelona.

You can discover the mining history of the municipality of Ogassa through a guided tour of the Mining Museum and the Mina Dulce.

Discover the industrial heritage related to coal mining.”
