The Interpretation Center is a facility whose mission is to explain the history of the monastery of Ripoll from its foundation to the present day, complementing the visit to the monastic church and its cloister. It is located in the chapel of the Congregation of the Immaculate Conception, a building built in the seventeenth century, attached to the church of Sant Pere, next to the monastery of Santa Maria de Ripoll.
The interpretation center of the monastery is a must visit to learn about the history of the Monastery of Santa Maria, its importance and the origins of Catalonia through a symbol. The center complements the subsequent visit to the monastery.
