It was the Parish Church of Ripoll until 1893, when the parish moved to the restored church of the Monastery of Ripoll. It was looted during the Civil War from 1936 to 1939 and did not return to worship. Today it is an open space where several exhibitions and cultural activities are held. During the last restoration, some paintings of great value were discovered along with some dragons on the church ceiling.
