The Church of Sant Pau is rural Baroque in style, with a wide nave and side chapels. In the year 920 a church dedicated to Sant Pau was cited, which was converted into the centre that brought together all the inhabited areas scattered around the territory. In the late 17th century, a new parish church was built. It stood high and alone on the left bank of the river Ter, at the foot of the old royal way of Olot in Camprodon. It was thought appropriate to build a new church in the town (1971). The old one is still suitable for worship and the buildings surrounding it – the old vicariate needs a bell-tower – has been converted into an active summer camp house.
