Hermitage of Santa Magdalena of Perella

Santa Magdalena de Perella is a 12th century hermitage with a rectangular layout and no apse, located in the Perella neighbourhood on a hill over the Ter Valley. The hermitage was built before 1145 by the owners of the Can Perella country estate. The hermitage has some treasures dedicated to Santa Magdalena and forms part of the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.

It is currently not in use, but once a year the Santa Magdalena meeting continues to be held. This event is held on the first Sunday after the Saint’s festival on 22nd July.
