Church of Santa Cecilia in Molló

“The church has an only nave covered with a sharp-pointed barrel vault and a semicircular apse narrower than the nave, which is a feature of some of the Romanesque Churches in the Ripollés. It must be noticed the typical elements of the Lombard Romanesque architecture: Lombard fringes, blind Arches, saw friezes especially on the portrait and the bell tower, but also inside the temple.
The rest of the walls are austere plain and regular. On both ends of the roof there are two small bell towers used to announce the Mass.
It is worth mentioning the five storey bell tower, elegant but low compared to the dimensions of he church, the same as the church of St Cristofol in Beget. Both bell towers are similar. The portrait although not so artistical reminds you of the one in Saint Pere of Camprodon .it has an austere decoration but an elegant mixture of architecture and sculpture; we should observe the sculptures of enormous animals at the top.”
