Church of Sant Martí in Fornells de la Muntanya

It was originally a small church with a single nave, perhaps with an apse and the door to the south band. Later on, the nave was made bigger, overtaking the apse and building a larger nave as at San Julià de Vallfogona. Behind the presbytery is the sacristy built under the bell-tower. The oldest part of the church outside is the visible ashlars and the finished one added later. The interior is totally finished. The wrought iron choir railing could date from the 18th century and it is thought that its construction corresponds to the extension of the church.
