Espinavell is a town in the municipality of Molló (Ripollès). It is located in the Camprodon valley, stepped on a slope to the left of the Ritort river, perched on the edge of the Pregon pass, a natural path to Presta, at 1,350 meters above sea level. It grew up around the church of Our Lady of the Snows and there are clearly identified four streets oriented to the four cardinal points with respect to this building, which are: at noon, Carrer d’Avall; to the west, Carrer d’Enllà; to the east, Carrer d’Ençà, and to the north, Carrer d’Amunt. At the foot of the town stretches a large plain, called the Plains, where the Tria de Mulatto d’Espinavell takes place (October 13).
