Via Ferrada

During the First World War, in the Dolomites, the Italian army equipped different routes with artificial elements on the walls – iron steps, cables … This allowed the troops to move agilely through steep terrain to be able to overcome with facilitated those geographical features that blocked their passage.
Today, we call via ferrata the different itineraries that, based on that idea, allow us to live the experience of progressing along a large wall safely and without the need to have the technical knowledge of a climber.
