At the end of the 19th century, Camprodon became one of the quintessential Catalan summer resorts. The Barcelona bourgeoisie settled there during the summer on the recommendation of Dr. Robert, looking for the good air of the mountains, and large houses were built following the different architectural styles of the turn of the century. Come and discover, as the writer Carles Bosch de la Trinxeria called it, the “Switzerland of the people of Barcelona”.
