Mas Merolla is located at 1,120 meters, surrounded by mountains and places of natural interest, very close to Gombrèn and La Pobla de Lillet, where you will enjoy incredible views over the Catllaràs and Pedraforca.
Count Arnau, originally from Gombrèn, left us countless places to visit, such as the ruins of his castle, the hole of Sant Hou, the gorg dels banyuts, and the museum that bears his name. Not to mention a visit to the Sanctuary of Montgrony and its Romanesque church, where you will find a magnificent place of rest and prayer.
In La Pobla de Lillet you can visit some of Gaudí’s unknown architectural gems, the Artigas Gardens, an exceptional setting and the Catllaràs chalet designed by Antoni Gaudí and built by the engineers of the surrounding coal mines.
In Castellar de N'Hug you will find the well-known Fonts del Llobregat where you will see the source of the Llobregat River. You can't forget the proximity to natural environments such as Núria, Vall Ter and La Molina.
The house is an old manor house recently restored in 2005. The restoration has been done with the original materials of the environment. During the rehabilitation, all the characteristic elements of Catalan rural architecture have been maintained.
